What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others are optional and only set if you agree.
Cookies on wowmenu.me
Essential (always on)
wm_consent: remembers your cookie choice. Kept for 12 months.
Analytics (only if you accept)
- If we enable a website analytics tool, it sets cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful. They are set only after you accept analytics cookies, and their names and durations are listed here when the tool is enabled.
Referral and marketing (only if you accept)
wm_ref: when you arrive through a WowMenu partner's link, records the partner's referral code so the partner is credited if you sign up. Kept for 90 days. Deleted if you withdraw consent.
The guest menu and the Owner Portal
The guest menu that restaurant guests open from a table QR code, and the Owner Portal, are separate applications. The guest menu stores the guest's language, theme and currency choices and a device identifier on the guest's phone. It does not use advertising cookies. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Your choices
You can accept or reject optional cookies in the banner, and change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page. You can also delete cookies or block them in your browser settings; the site will still work, but you will be asked for your choice again.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy if the cookies we use change, and show the date at the top. Questions: support@wowmenu.me.
